Search Tips

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

medieval red velvet

finds documents containing the words 'medieval' or 'red' or 'velvet'

medieval or red or velvet

same as above

medieval and red and velvet

finds documents containing all words 'medieval' and 'red' and 'velvet'

medieval not red

finds documents containing 'medieval' but not 'red'

medieval*

finds documents containing words starting with 'medieval'
